Results published & feedback needed

Thank you to all who contributed to the Commonplace map and participated in the Focus Group meetings on the Neighbourhood Plan last year and earlier this year. Based on the results of these we have prepared a draft vision, five objectives and a set of three ideas to support each of these objectives. All of these will help inform the policies and projects for the Draft Plan. There will be another opportunity for you to comment once the Draft Plan is published. However, at this stage we need your feedback on the results of the Focus Group meetings.

The purpose of the Batchworth Neighbourhood Plan is to help improve the quality of life and the built and natural environment for our community. It will establish policies for new development that calls for the highest standards of design and sustainability.

The Neighbourhood Plan is not the same as the new Three Rivers Local Plan. The Neighbourhood Plan will not allocate sites for housing development but will help shape new development by putting in policies on things like design, access and housing mix.

All of the results of the Focus Group meetings can be found on our website and you can submit your views by either completing the questionnaire online or by hand and returning to Batchworth Community Council offices at Basing House, 46 High Street, Rickmansworth, WD3 1HP.

Please respond by 18 July 2021.

Thank you for your continued engagement. Together we can then make our Plan for Batchworth.

Kind Regards

The Batchworth Plan Steering Group

Please note : the Batchworth Commonplace page will become inactive after July 2021. If you would like to continue receiving updates on the Batchworth Plan, please make sure you are signed up to the email distribution list on our main website .
